Description
This one-to-one workshop will take you through the best places for photography in Porto and it is ideal for all who want to learn photography.
This activity is suited not only for beginners, who seek to learn more about photography and improve their work, but also for more experienced photographers looking to learn more advanced techniques.
If you are a beginner, I will teach you how to manually control your camera and provide you the necessary basics to get great compositions and develop your own style. Because this is a private workshop, you will have my full attention at all times. In the end, I’m sure you will have your card full of images that will make you proud. If you are an experienced photographer, we can discuss more advanced techniques and share our way to approach photography. I will do my best to make sure you get the photos you have always dreamed of Porto.
Along the route we are going to photograph everything we find interesting, including the famous Santa Catarina street, which is perfect for street photography, the old cathedral, the amazing view of Porto from D. Luís I bridge and also less known superb places.

Meeting Point
The meeting point is nearby to the “Clérigos tower” (see map below). The Clérigos tower is well known in the city and it is very easy to get there from anywhere. If you have any question about how to get there, feel free to contact me.

Availability
The workshop is available all year round, but contact me to schedule a specific date and time of the day.
Route
The original route of the workshop can be changed according to your preferences. Just make sure to mention the places you want to visit in the email.
Cancellation Policy
You will receive a full refund if you cancel the workshop at least 48 hours before the starting time. After that, no refund will be done.

The experience was great! Daniel has much knowledge in photography and gives several tips for taking amazing pictures in Porto! He is very friendly and helpful! Daniel was a great photographer around Porto. I’m a very experienced photographer but prefer to shoot my first time in a location with someone who knows the city. Daniel’s biologist and photography background made him very interesting to talk to and he knew great spots around the city and took me on a perfect loop. He was also quite willing to adjust times so that we could capture the best light and was generally a great companion for the afternoon. I know he often takes more beginner photographers, but I would also recommend him for the experienced photographers who are looking for a local connection, fellow photographer, and shooting companion.
Daniel is a prepared, patient and very kind professional.
The hours spent with Daniel were very creative and of great cultural interest, because not only did I learn to take my own photographs, but he also proved to be an excellent tourist guide, discovering places that I would certainly not have discovered on my own.
