Description
This one-to-one workshop will take you through the best places for photography in Porto and it is ideal for all who want to learn photography.
This activity is suited not only for beginners, who seek to learn more about photography and improve their work, but also for more experienced photographers looking to learn more advanced techniques.
If you are a beginner, I will teach you how to manually control your camera and provide you the necessary basics to get great compositions and develop your own style. Because this is a private workshop, you will have my full attention at all times. In the end, I’m sure you will have your card full of images that will make you proud. If you are an experienced photographer, we can discuss more advanced techniques and share our way to approach photography. I will do my best to make sure you get the photos you have always dreamed of Porto.
Along the route we are going to photograph everything we find interesting, including the famous Santa Catarina street, which is perfect for street photography, the old cathedral, the amazing view of Porto from D. Luís I bridge and also less known superb places.

Meeting Point
The meeting point is nearby to the “Clérigos tower” (see map below). The Clérigos tower is well known in the city and it is very easy to get there from anywhere. If you have any question about how to get there, feel free to contact me.

Availability
The workshop is available all year round, but contact me to schedule a specific date and time of the day.

The original route of the workshop can be changed according to your preferences. Just make sure to mention the places you want to visit in the email.
Cancellation Policy
You will receive a full refund if you cancel the workshop at least 48 hours before the starting time. After that, no refund will be done.

Daniel is very friendly and competent. The arrangements with him in advance were extremely easy and reliable. He took me on a very personalized tour of Porto and pointed out many interesting photo opportunities. He also helped me to better understand and handle my camera settings. My son had recently giving me his camera and I needed to understand the basic of using this over my normal iPhone photos. I also need help in composition of photographs. Daniel provided expert help with both these points and allowed me to explore the camera in full manual mode using shutter speeds, aperture and iso settings. We also found numerous photo opportunities for composition in our walk around Porto. Really enjoyed the experience.

Recommended for people traveling by themselves. If you want to communicate with a local, look around the city and take nice photos, this workshop will satisfy you. I was the only guest for this trip, which made me feel like taking a private workshop. Please consider this workshop at the beginning of your travel in Porto since you can visit popular spots in the city with Daniel. Smartphones are enough for photography, however, you will take full advantage of this experience with your camera. Prior to the meeting, I commented that I wanted to get tips for taking shots of sunset and the night view, he adjusted the meeting time so that we could see the sunset together at the end of the trip. Overall, this experience was helpful and unforgettable for me 🙂
